A (very brief) history of the bangle bracelet
Bangles have been a popular jewelry item for centuries. They were popular in ancient Egypt and can be seen in much of ancient Egyptian art. In fact a magnificent gold bangle encrusted with a scarab was discovered in the tomb of Tutankhamun. Gold bangle bracelets can be seen in ancient Egyptian pictures.
