Tennis bracelet history
The term "tennis bracelet" has a recent very origin. In 1987, Chris Evert, former No.1 woman tennis player, was playing in the US open and wearing an in-line diamond bracelet. The bracelet broke during play and the match had to be halted until it was repaired. Since then gem stone and diamond tennis bracelets became very popular.
